ASSESSMENT AND COMPETENCE MANAGEMENT

Neway Training Solutions Limited are an approved City and Guilds Centre offering National Vocational Qualifications in Assessor skills, Internal Verifier and Learning and Development listed below.

Whatever your occupation is, we can offer training and support to become a competent assessor or Internal Verifier.

   
    the basic qualification required to become a registered assessor for Track Safety or NVQs.

   
    the qualification required to Manage the Quality Assurance process of assessment.

   
    Unit L12 and L14 – qualification for supporting learners by mentoring and coaching in the workplace
    (useful for Track Safety mentoring and Track Induction)

    - Learning and Development Units L6, L10, L11 and L13 - Train the trainer
    (minimum requirements to become registered Track Safety Trainer)

The qualifications are competence based which requires evidence from the workplace. Each candidate will attend a two day course on how to undertake assessments or internally verify assessments. This will be followed by the candidate gathering evidence whilst carrying out their normal work. Additional support will be provided whilst the trainee-assessor or verifier develops their skills. The third day will consist of an observed assessment in the candidate’s workplace.
