A1 Update

COURSE AIMS

The course is intended to update candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to conduct assessments in their own occupational field and will enable them to meet the requirements of the new national standards – A1.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course the delegates will be understand how to:-

Develop plans for assessing competence with candidates

Judge evidence against agreed standards to make assessment decisions

Give candidates feedback and support on your assessment decisions

Contribute to the internal quality assurance process

Be aware of the role and responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager role

PRE-REQUISITIES

This course involves a high degree of documentation review and candidates should be familiar with their own company procedures on Competence Management. Delegates must hold D32/33 qualification.

This course is aimed primarily at qualified assessors and internal verifiers.

CERTIFICATION

On completion of this course the delegate shall be awarded a certificate of attendance.
